Minister's Message
It's July already!

Summer is already here. It seems just yesterday we
were enjoying Spring flowers and they have already
been replaced by summer's color. A wet June has
allowed Mother Earth to recover from a dry May. The
bare spots are filling in and some trees seem to grow
right in front of your eyes. My feeders are starting to
see the little ones of my treasured friends I look
forward to feeding each morning. Natures bounty is
just beginning as the first blueberries of the season
are ready for harvest.

Spiritually the energy of the Creator has never been
stronger. The world has seen many recent climatic
challenges. Thousands are in transition from these
climatic events. Our goal to energize each to find the
light and their chosen path is unchanging. Whether
locally or globally, our goal to serve and assist those
seeking the light cannot waiver. The ILSC leadership
is committed to providing the resources to serve Spirit
and achieve this goal daily. We welcome visitors to
our Sunday services to see and feel the warmth of our
Creator's light.

Namaste!

In Love and Light,  Rev. Gloria J. Nye, NST, CM
Many people ask if Spiritualists believe in God. We believe in
God, the Creator, or Infinite Intelligence, and that everything
and everyone is a part of that energy, pure spiritual energy.

We also believe in communication with those who have passed
on. We are all energy, and as such, cannot be destroyed. Our
spirit consists of our essence. It is who we are. It continues to
live in the Spirit World and as a result is able to reach back and
communicate with us. What a comfort this is to those who are
grieving the loss of someone near and dear.

Spiritualism is a religion that teaches personal responsibility.
Our 7th Principle states,"We affirm the moral responsibility of
the individual and that we make our  own happiness or
unhappiness as we obey or disobey Nature's physical and
spiritual laws." In other words, what ever we put out there
comes back to us in one way or another. The choice is up to us.
We cannot blame the Creator for what goes wrong in our lives
as we have free will.

This not a new religion. Modern Spiritualism began in 1848 but
humanity has believed in life after physical death since the
beginning of man's time on Earth.
What is Spiritualism?
As the Sunflower turns its face to the sun,
so Spiritualism turns the face of humanity
to the light of truth.
